Privacy Policy
LearnSomm is a study tool for wine, spirits, coffee, tea and food. We collect as little as we can, we never sell your information, and we don't show ads. This page explains exactly what we keep and why.
What we collect

Voice features. If you use voice commands, the speech is recognized by your browser or phone's built-in speech service (for example Google's, in Chrome and on Android). LearnSomm doesn't record or store your voice.
Basic usage statistics. Our hosting provider, Google Firebase, may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages loaded, to keep the service running and secure.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We don't show advertising or share data with advertisers.
- We don't use your location, contacts, photos or files.
Who processes your data
Your account and study data are stored with Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Hosting) in the United States. Payments are processed by Stripe. Both act on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and study data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete your account and study data within 30 days. Purchase records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires.
Deleting your account
You can ask us to delete your account and all of its data at any time on our account deletion page.
Children
LearnSomm includes material about wine, beer and spirits and is intended for adults of legal drinking age in their country. It is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
All connections use HTTPS. Access to your data is limited to your own signed-in account by Firebase security rules.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
